VENUE

As a SBBD-SBES 2007 co-located event, WDDS 2007 is being held the Tropical Hotel Tambáu, João Pessoa, PB, Brazil. WDDS 2007 will be held on October 16, 2007. The WDDS 2007 program will be inserted in the SBES 2007 program grid.

REGISTRATION

As a SBES 2007 co-located event, registration to WDDS would be possible only for those already registered at SBBD, SBES or both. It is important to note that WDDS registration is not included in SBBD or SBES registration.

Registration to WDDS allows participants to receive proceedings in CD and printed forms.

All registrations must be made through the Internet at the SBBD-SBES 2007 site SBBD-SBES 2007.

Registration is limited. No additional registration will be possible after the capacity of the room is reached. Then, early registration is encouraged.

Registration fees vary according to the type of category (Professional / Student), SBC membership (member / non-member) and registration date (Phases I, II and III). It is important to note that early registrations (Phase I) have reduced fees, up to 30% e 40% off for professionals and students, respectively.

ACCOMMODATION

WDDS 2007 is being held at Tropical Hotel Tambaú, João Pessoa, PB, Brazil. João Pessoa, the capital of the State of Paraíba, is located in the Northeastern region of the country where can be found the most beautiful Brazilian beaches. Considered a city’s postcard, the Tropical Hotel Tambaú is a modern circular structure built right on the sands of Tambaú beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of João Pessoa.

The WDDS 2007 delegates have reduced hotel rates, which can be found at SBBD-SBES 2007 site SBBD-SBES 2007.

All requests for hotel reservations should be made by each participant directly to the Official Travel Agency ApoioTur, by e-mail or phone.

TRAVEL

As a SBES 2007 co-located event, WDDS 2007 delegates have 15% off ticket booking at TAM, which is the Official Airline of the SBBD-SBES 2007. It is important to note that the discount is valid only for routes operated by TAM between cities in Brazil.

In order to take advantage of reduced airfares, all requests for ticket booking should be made by each participant directly to the Official Travel Agency ApoioTur, by e-mail or phone.

OFFICIAL TRAVEL AGENCY

ApoioTur has been selected as the Official Travel Agency of the SBBD-SBES 2007. Together with the event organizing committee, Apoiotur has negotiated reduced hotel rates with Tropical Hotel Tambaú (the Official Hotel of the event) and reduced airfares with TAM (the Official Airline of the event).
